KORG LEGACY COLLECTION SWEETWATER PATCH
The M1 and Wavestation plugs include every official expansion patch bank along with the factory patches. The KORG Legacy Collection is the ultimate virtual Korg instrument pack, consisting of software versions of the MS-20 and Polysix analog synthesizers, and the WAVESTATION advanced vector synthesizer, together with a dedicated MS-20 Controller that faithfully replicates the original MS-20 at 84 of the original size. I never owned any Korg boards back then (was always a Roland guy), but I imagine this would be pretty amazing for anyone who used to have one of these old boards.

It's got a bunch of effects and presets, despite an archaic UI. Also, the MDE-X plugin included with the bundle is a sort of swiss army knife effects plugin. One of the plugins is really wild lets you morph sounds from the other ones. Was really impressed with the set, actually. The Korg User Net web site is janky as hell and the registration process took forever (lots of copy/pasting and link following for each plugin) but once it's all set up it works great. I'm also on 64-bit Win 7, and all of the Korg plugins work on Ableton Live 8 (32-bit) and Cubase 5 and 6 (both 32-bit and 64-bit).
KORG LEGACY COLLECTION SWEETWATER 64 BIT
I'm running them on a Windows 7 64 bit machine, but the plugins are 32 bit AFAIK.Yep, they're all 32-bit. I didnt use the Wavestation app much because the ui graphics are so small & I dont use software much, but I would still like the upgrade.Recent Korg support is good and answer quick, hope you get it resolved.Works fine for me. I didnt use the Wavestation app much because the ui graphics are so small & I dont use software much, but I would still like the upgrade. Luckily I have a hardware Wavestation since the 1990s, & pimped it, took out the whining inverter & installed a new oled screen, & its great,( but I wish it had a 'dice'. I dont see any way of contacting Korg this.( no contact details on their website.they say " contact your dealer") Korg 'software pass ' is installed on the newer Mac. It even disabled my original Wavestation & forced it into demo mode. I opened an account / graduated over to the new Korg website, using my original contact details & original password, but now its not recognising my original registration key code & it (the Korg website/ my account) doesnt even recognise that I have a genuine legit license. So it was the original obsolete Korg website when I first bought it.
KORG LEGACY COLLECTION SWEETWATER UPDATE
Spent 2 hours (wasted 2 hours) trying to update it today & an hour yesterday.this is one of the reasons that I dont like using software for music much. I tried to update the Wavestation on another computer as I understand it only runs on OSX10.12 & my other Mac runs on this, but was unsuccessful so far. I have most of my music software setup on this OS because I cant run some of my most important stuff on a higher OS. Ive had the software Wavestation since 2012 & am still on OSX10.9 (Mavericks). These synths are awesome and work incredibly well for genres like House, but I am not sure what you are making. Granted these are just first impressions and could change but I have not heard anything yet that would make me want to reach for these.Turn the FX off and use 3rd party ones. I admittedly am a Roland fan and own analog synths of theirs, but even just pulling up the JX3P plug and playing a couple raw notes is a completely different experience, it sounds 'expensive' and this sounds 'cheap'. It may totally be that I just wouldn't like the real synths but I don't know what other word to describe them other than 'flat'. I do not get an 'analog' vibe from the monopoly/polysix/ms-20/etc at all. After registering the KORG Legacy Collection for M1, the registered M1 Le disappeared from the list.
KORG LEGACY COLLECTION SWEETWATER HOW TO
Please tell me how to reauthorize the M1 Le to use on another computer. There is no comparison between them and the Roland Cloud plugins. KORG Legacy Collection authentication is requested even though authentication is already complete. I don't have these synths to compare to, but from a purely sonic perspective they seem entirely 'dead' sounding to me. However, that's where my positivity ends.

KORG LEGACY COLLECTION SWEETWATER INSTALL
Install was smooth otherwise (as smooth as 7 clicks plus typing in your password every time for each plug can be).įirst impression is that all the UIs are gorgeous. Had to type it in a million times until I got it right. įirst annoyance - the Korg Software Pass app wasn't letting me paste in a password - which sucks for those of us who use LastPass and crazy random passwords. Because of the reduced bundle price and updated UI I decided to give these plugs a go.
